Fluorescent Black, owned by designer Daniel Clarke, is an Urban Caribbean Street-Style fashion label that’s heavily influenced by black lives, black stories and the empowerment of our people through highlighting many of our untold stories.

Born in 1995 with a flare for visual arts and general creativity, designer Clarke fueled these gifts into formal education at the University of Trinidad and Tobago where he graduated as the Student-of-the-Year and earned himself a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design.

A blossoming Fashion Design career was eminent as Clarke was sort after by many of Trinidad and Tobago’s major talents such as Machel Montano, Patrice Roberts, Preedy, Ricardo Drue and many more.

Operating a full blown custom-made and ready-to-wear fashion label under the clever name Fluorescent Black, designer Clarke was able to complete some milestone achievements such as opening a store front in The Port Mall Scarborough Tobago while also completing a full musical tour with soca star Patrice Roberts.

Fluorescent Black has worked its way up the ranks and is now one of the premier local fashion labels out of Trinidad and Tobago with its own garment construction facility/ store front, consisting of 4 trained and competent garment technologist and 2 production assistants.

The Fluorescent Black brand is keen on providing a professional local-luxury shopping experience through its e-commerce online platform and an in store one that’s just as great.
